John, accordion/concertina and Dean, guitar have been playing together for ten years. When they finally recorded this album they decided to limit it to a duet. Highlights include: Perdition Piano Duet, an off kilter jig, Trippin’ in Eden, a barn dance, The Gypsy Queen, and the closing reel, Youenn. Their years of playing together allow them to freely improvise and anticipate and compliment each other’s ornamentation.
