PBS Live Performance Double-CD

The Basilica at Knock is the magnificent setting chosen by Tommy for his PBS special. During the concert, Tommy is joined by his mentor, Phil Coulter, to perform Phil’s signature tune Steal Away. Many of the songs are inspirational and Tommy’s expressive tenor gives an emotionally satisfying rendition of From a Distance, You Raise Me Up, Ave Maria, Amazing Grace and most fittingly Lady of Knock. Another guest is fiddler, Eileen Ivers, who after two outstanding solo pieces is called back to accompany Tommy on Danny Boy.

Before launching his solo career, Tommy was the vocalist with De Dannan for three years and from that period he performs Song for Ireland and Hard Times.
