Long before it was plucked from the marching band to join Celtic Rock Bands, the bagpipe found its way into folk music. Colin Melville, pipes, is well at home with the traditional playing of John Martin, fiddle, Leslie Wilson, bouzouki, Phil Smilie, flute. Roy Gullane on guitar/vocals contributes Soldier's Return by Robert Burns and Dark Eyed Molly by Archie Fisher. Together they create the finest sound of Scottish folk as tight and versatile as any band on the Celtic music scene.
