Natalie’s latest CD represents a return to the Cape Breton tradition, after her foray into bluegrass on Blueprint. This is not to say she has abandoned all world music influences. There is a jazz flavored introduction to Flea as a Bird and a strong guitar and rhythm section on Matt and Nat’s. But the musicians are all Cape Breton mainstays who ably support her flamboyant virtuosity.
