Muireann first came to prominence as the vocalist and flute player with Danú. Her first solo album provides ten vocals and two instrumental selections. Her warm contralto voice embraces such favorites as Western Highway, Free and Easy, Isle of Malachy and The Parting Glass along with three songs in Gaelic. Instrumental support is provided by Oisin McAuley, fiddle Gerry O’Beirne, guitar and John Doyle among others.
