The soundtrack for Celtic Tiger captures the spirit of the show starring Michael Flatley, which through the medium of dance has a big story to tell. Starting in early Celtic time, it traces the history of Ireland through the Vikings, English oppression, the famine and finally its emergence as an independent nation - and that is just the first half.

It then crosses the ocean to examine contemporary America and it’s relation to the new vibrant Ireland symbolized by the Celtic Tiger. The dramatic mix of chants, celtic dance, jazz and traditional music along with the sound of the hardshoe dance combine to tell the story. The score was written by Ronan Hardiman, who worked with Michael on Lord of the Dance and Feet of Flames. It employs some of Ireland’s finest musicians. Hardiman and synthesizer, Michael himself, flute , Maire Breathneach, fiddle and Mairtin O’Connor, accordion among others. The score also features The Irish Film Orchestra.
