Karen is the vocalist for Capercaille and she seems born to sing in Gaelic. Nine of the eleven tracks on this album are sung in that language. Her powerful voice seems at ease in this setting. Among the musicians are Donal Lunny, bouzouki, Michael McGoldrick, uilleann pipes and many other fine traditional players.
