This double package at the price of a single CD is a real treat for Flogging Molly fans. The DVD is directed by Jim Dziura, who followed the band on the road for two years. He weaves together concert footage with revealing interviews with all the band members. The DVD includes many personal moments with the band. The most moving is the footage shot by a Dutch film crew of Dave King in his mother’s home playing her a song he wrote about his father. The CD portion of the package is ten songs by the band. Five performed live and five acoustic studio versions. A highlight is the studio version of Laura.

Recently released by their label this CD, previously available only at their shows, captures the band in its formative stage. Recorded live at Molly Malone’s, the spontaneous interaction between the band and their fans makes up for any lack in the quality of the live sound.
