Cherish The Ladies
Cherish The Ladies is the standout Irish traditional music ensemble headed by Joanie Madden (whistle/flute). Known for outstanding playing of Irish jig music, reels and airs, Cherish the Ladies was founded in 1983 to showcase women playing traditional Irish music. Other members include Mary Coogan, (guitar, banjo, mandolin), Roisin Dillon (fiddle), Morella Murray (accordion) and Heidi Talbot (vocals). With seven albums already to their credit, their latest album, Woman of the House, has just been released.
