Click image below for larger view  CIARÁN SHEEHAN Ciarán possesses a lively, powerful and expressive tenor voice and puts it to very effective use in his performance of the 12 songs on this CD. While he can hit and sustain the high notes with the best of them, his training and experience in the theatre show in the attention he pays to the meaning and emotional charge of the lyrics. He played the title role in “Phantom of the Opera” on Broadway and performed in Frank McCourt's PBS show, “The Irish and How They Got That Way”. However, Ciarán received his greatest national exposure when he touched the heart of millions with his rendition of Danny Boy during the internationally televised memorial Mass for John and Caroline Kennedy. His theatricality is reflected not only in the songs he chose from musicals - Music of the Night, Once Upon a Time and All I Ask of You, but also in the heightened understanding he brings to such favorites as Grace, The Old Man and a truly beautiful and stirring version of Down By the Glenside. He is joined in duets by Gay Willis with whom he gives a fresh take on The Fields of Athenry. The album was produced by Frank Patterson's wife, Eily, who knows a great tenor when she hears one.   |

Click image below for larger view  FRANK PATTERSON Frank Patterson's last major concert, prior to his untimely death, was recorded at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center on this video. For this salute to his adopted homeland, Frank assembled a full symphony orchestra, The Irish Harp Orchestra conducted by his wife, Eily O'Grady, the mother - daughter violin duo, Geraldine O'Grady and Oonagh Ceogh, his son Eanan, violin and 1,000 Irish step dancers. During this spectacular show, Frank performed many of his favorites including Rose of Tralee, Mother Machree, Grace, My Son, When Irish Eyes Are Smiling, Danny Boy and of course God Bless America.
